Digital Marketing Specialist
Specialist: Dillon serves as the agency’s Digital Marketing Specialist in our Digital Department, but that title is a little deceiving. Dillon supports most of the agency’s client teams with digital marketing solutions, social media management, strategic messaging, analytic evaluation and reporting.
Dillon has experience in digital marketing and campaign specialist positions that required extensive work with Google Adwords and Google Analytics reporting. He is a skilled copywriter and content creator for online and web content. Dillon works with cross-functional client teams to build online presence, social media campaigns and digital marketing strategy and tactics that give ComGroup’s clients the best positioning, placement and presence, while simultaneously looking for ways to integrate powerful storytelling and insightful messaging.
Dillon brings a full suite of digital tools to every project, including Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Suite, Search Console, Google Ad tools, HubSpot, MailChimp, Basecamp and Duda.co.
Dillon grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Central Arkansas where he served as president of his fraternity.
Dillon holds the following certifications: Hootsuite Platform Certification, Google Analytics, Google Ads Fundamentals and Google Adwords Search Certification.
Hidden Talents: Traveler, Adventurer, airfare bargain hunter, creator of beautiful messages, pencil drawings, cliff-jumping, and mad soccer skills.

Apart from my parents I would say my k-6 grade teachers instilling kindness & hard work.

Stock boy at a local grocery store.
What was your favorite job? Why?
3-month summer contract at summer camp. I was a photographer & worked to document camp moments so that the families & kids could remember their time at camp.
Career advice you would give your teenage self…
Be patient & become an early adopter of every single social media platform regardless if I think it will be around in 10 years. The skills learned would have transferred over to the next best thing.
What led you to this career?
I sincerely believe communication & story-telling is the most exciting, challenging, & inspiring field of study / work to be a part of.
